no pause blindspot

for some reason I find usage of "no homo" offensive and inane, but, always get a chuckle out of people using "PAUSE."

It's sad, really.

no pause

I suppose it's worth wondering why you (or I, or anyone) get a chuckle out of "no pause." For me, it becomes a phrase to laugh at (rather than take offense to) the moment I smile and wonder if maybe--just maybe--the pause has allowed a space for the speaker to think something along the lines of, "hmmm ... that sounds alright, now that I think about it!"
